Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty have a four hour long narration for Simmba!
Ranveer Singh is collaborating with Rohit Shettyfor a film (Simmba) for the very first time and we are quite kicked about it. The two of worked on the Ranveer Ching ad campaign a few years back and we have to say, it was a feast! If that was anything to go by, then we are sure that these two firebrands will totally kill it with Simmba. However, we have been waiting for an update on the film and when it will hit the floors since a while now. However, we got hold of a picture of Ranveer and Rohit officially kickstarting Simmbaand we can’t keep calm! The duo met at the director’s office yesterday for the first narration of the full film. It was a four hour long narration, which ended with this picture being clicked.
Talking about Simmba and the narration that took place yesterday, a source revealed, “Simmba is going to be a mad, fun, full on entertaining ride. Rohit called Ranveer for a narration at his office and they had a ball jamming on the script. The director loves Ranveer as an actor and his infectious energy will be perfect for Simmba. Rohit has been very vocal in calling Ranveer the young generation‘s superstar in all his interviews and Ranveer looks up to Rohit’s sensibility of getting the pulse of Indian audiences through his cinema.”
From what we hear, Simmba will go on floors in the coming few months, after the actor wraps up Gully Boy. As the source further added, “Ranveer is a huge fan of Rohit and Simmba for him is a dream come true as he has always wanted to be part of a Rohit Shetty film. Ranveer feels no one gets commercial cinema like Rohit and he wants to give him everything for Simmba. He wants to impress his favourite director and be called a Rohit Shetty film ‘hero’. They are a house on fire together and they spent about 4 hours together during the narration. Ranveer is raring to start shooting for his favourite director and will begin filming as soon as he wraps Gully Boy.”
