Rangasthalam is getting bigger and bigger at the box office.

Rangasthalam released yesterday and opened pretty well. It got good screen count in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Being a Telugu film, it was expected for it to take off really well at these centres. But its amazing haul at the Chennai box office has left everyone amazed. It earned Rs 25 lakhs on day 1 and has beatrn Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi’s record. All this while, the Power star’s film was at the top. The ongoing strike in the Tamil film world has a lot to do with these numbers of Ram Charan’s film. No contest at the theatres helped it earned a huge sum of money. Also, Charan is pretty popular in the area for people to check out the movie at the theatres. It has already created a storm overseas and now, Chennai hasn’t been spared either. The film also stars Samantha Akkineni in a crucial role. The film got good reactions from the Critics as well. Our reviewer Urmimala Banerjee writes, “Ram Charan will be remembered for his Chitti Babu character for a long time. Rangasthalam has scenes that will stay with you for a long time, especially the bloody fight in the field and the final one between Ram Charan and the main villain. This one is a sure-shot blockbuster.” Well, our prediction is turning true already. In the worldwide market, it has already crushed Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2.
