Ashutosh Gowariker has just announced his next film with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon
Ashutosh Gowariker has returned with another grand vision and we are excited! He is set to take us through yet another chapter in History. With Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon on board, the director plans to revive the third battle of Panipat – one of the landmark moments in the 18th century. Reports suggest it was one of the most fierce battle fought. We will now get to relive this chapter in History with Panipat: The Great Betrayal! The director along with the cast of the film has released the first poster teaser to give us a glimpse of what’s coming. It features a sword held on firmly by a brave hand. The fiery theme of the film is perfectly reflected in the colours of the poster. We are ready for this ferocious battle to come. The film is only set to release on 6th December, 2019.
In an interview with Mid-day, Ashutosh reveals that he is excited to reunite with Sanjay Dutt after sharing screen space with them two decades ago. ” What impresses me most about Arjun, apart from his fine performances, is his dynamism. He has played double roles twice [Aurangzeb, 2013 and Mubarakan, 2017], and has portrayed an action hero as well as a lover boy,” states the director while speaking about Arjun Kapoor. As for Kriti Sanon, he “” needed someone who is beautiful and a good performer.”
