Ranveer Singh is on a roll. We are still not over his team up with Mahesh Babu for an aerated drink commercial and we have to gear up to see him in another great collaboration. As per the latest reports, Ranveer has signed the dotted lines to star next to Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan for an advertisement. Now that is called some news. Though be aware that the shooting for the commercial will not begin before 2 months from now. Then we can add another month for editing and post-production before the ad finally goes on air. Now that is a long time to wait.
A report by Mid Day also suggests that the advertisement will be a funny one and the humorous idea is what made Ranveer and Aamir agree to be a part of the project. Well, given the track record of the two actors when it comes to advertisements we are not surprised that they were enticed by the humour. They both have individually starred in some of the funniest commercials we have seen on TV.
Ranveer’s adverts with Alia Bhatt for a travel website are still hit on the internet. And who can forget his funny yet sexy dance moves for a condom brand? Aamir is a veteran when it comes to this. He has even cross-dressed for an ad. In fact, there is hardly an avatar we have not seen him in for ads. A Korean tourist? Check! A Nepali hiker? Check. A Bengali man, a pan vendor and what not – we have seen it all. We wonder how are Ranveer and Aamir going to top their own work so far.
Ranveer is currently basking in the success coming his way for his last release Padmaavat. He has started shooting for his next Gully Boy with Zoya Akhtar. Aamir will be seen in YRF’s Thugs of Hindostan with Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
