Ranveer and Alia have bonded really well
Ever since we have seen the still of Gully Boywhere Ranveer Singh and alia bhatt let their eyes do all the talking, we cannot control our excitement about seeing the two of them together on screen. They looked in a contemplative mood in the still and everyone began raving about the kind of depth they displayed in just one picture. Well, they are two of the most exciting actors of contemporary times with an amazing repertoire of work. It is evident that Ranveer and Alia have been bonding well on and off screen. The film was being shot in the mornings at Mumbai’s busiest slum, Dharavi in the past few days and the two actors were stationed there. We can infer that Alia plays a Muslim girl in the film while Ranveer is an aspiring musician. The film is releasing on Valentine’s Day, 2019.
Well, Ranveer shared a snap where the two can be seen working out together. We know that Alia is a gym freak while Ranveer is also quite particular about his fitness. In the picture, Alia is stretching like a bird while the hot hunk is posing with a pair of dumbbells. Both are in identical gym wear from track pants to arm bands and colourful sneakers. The Padmaavat meanie has been all praises for Alia calling her one of the most mind-boggling actors he has worked with.
In a statement to us, Ranveer said, “Well, best phase…I would say this is a very rich phase. I am working with the finest filmmakers. I am extremely passionate about the desi hip-hop scene. Gully Boy is so dear to me, it is a film tailor made for me, I am getting to rap in the film. I see immense potential in this music scene. These kids really hail from the most disenfranchised section of society but they have found an expression as artistes. I want to champion their cause and see them grow and grow. I am genuinely invested in them through one of my brands Jack and Jones. Some of the talents from there have made it to the film. Their music is so potent, their lyrics have such social commentary on the system. Gully Boy is very close to my heart. It is the perhaps the closest to my heart after Band Bajaa Baaraat, which is special as it is my debut film.” Stay tuned to here for more updates…
