First look out! Hrithik Roshan steps out as Anand Kumar and we can’t wait to attend his mathematics class

Whoever thought Hrithik Roshan might not be an ideal choice to essay famous mathematician Anand Kumar’s life on the big screen are going to be in for a major surprise after checking out this first look. Yes, that’s Hrithik looking completely immersed into his character as he begins shooting for his Varanasi schedule today. Although we agree he doesn’t exactly duplicate Anand’s looks considering Hrithik has grown a heavier beard than Anand’s stubble but that doesn’t take away the fact what an unexpected transformation this is. Like, this isn’t something that we have seen coming from Hrithik in such a long time, have we? No wonder Anand Kumar was so hell bent on only having Hrithik play his role onscreen. 

While speaking about why Hrithik is best to portray him on the big screen, Kumar had said, “I am happy that Hrithik will play me because he is the best choice for the role. His dedication towards his work and the kind of versatility he exhibits as an actor is very inspiring. Being a rooted and passionate person myself, I feel that he will bring an emotional depth to my life on screen. I am excited to see Hrithik as Anand Kumar essaying my emotional journey. I totally trust Vikas(Bahl) with my story and I am confident that he will make a sensible and heartfelt film about me and what I strive to do.”

Super 30 is about Mathematician Anand Kumar’s life wherein he tutored kids of impoverished families to pass IIT entrance exam. As reported by Mumbai Mirror, Vikas has been rigorously working with the set designer to recreate  three cities (Bihar Bhopal and Patna) to make them look authentic. Anand Kumar himself is involved in all the creative meetings to ensure small details of all the places are included in the story,” informed a source close to the development. Meanwhile, the hunt for Hrithik’s leading lady is still on.

The first schedule of Super 30 had kicked off in Mumbai on January 22 as Hrithik had tweeted “On the auspicious day of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami, I am beginning my journey of Super 30 where I am playing a teacher for the first time. May the Goddess of learning bless this effort.” How do you like Hrithik’s look as Anand Kumar? PS: Super 30 is all set to release on November 23, 2018.
