The moment we have been waiting for is finally here! The first official poster of NTR – a film based on the life of the legendary actor-politician is here! The movie will star his sixth son, also renowned actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna. It shows a leader figure taking centre stage while the rest of the crowd cheers on. Considering, the legendary figure’s mass leader image, this poster is only fitting. The quote reaffirms his iconic status as it reads – A tribute to the legend who lived for the people and chosen by the people. With the logo in bright red and the rest of poster in monochrome, both elements stand out even more. It’s a combination of subtle and intense elements. The makers have finally set the ball rolling with this poster. The movie will be directed by Teja. His last movie – Nene Raju Nene Mantri starring Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal fared decently at the box office. Fans are obviously psyched that a film on the iconic personality is finally happening!

But for those who don’t know, this is not the only movie on NTR. Ram Gopal Varma turned heads when he announced that he would be making a biopic on NTR as well but through the eyes of Lakshmi, his second wife. He confirmed this news with a poster featuring a woman’s legs. “One single step that created love in the heart of one man but also hatred in hundreds. But that single step also remotivated him to once again make millions of people love him. This is the story of Lakshmi’s NTR. It’s a love story full of hatred, jealousy, power mongering, back stabbings and above all unbelievable inter relationship conflicts” stated the director while sharing the poster.

For those who don’t know, NTR’s marriage to Lakshmi was not taken well by his fans and his family members. so much so he was ousted from his own political party. The cast is yet to be finalised. It isn’t clear at this point if Ram Gopal Varma is still going ahead with the project.
