After delivering a scintillating performance as Kattapa in “Baahubali: The Conclusion” directed by SS Rajamouli, Sathyaraj has now signed a full-fledged horror film which will be directed by ‘Kallapadam’ fame Vel. Talking about this director Vel says, “I am a strong believer in apt casting. More than half my job is done after getting Sathyaraj sir. No one else can play this character better. This is a supernatural thriller that is set in an FM station background. The story is mainly about the paranormal activities that take place in an FM station in one night. To get the authenticity, we are looking to shoot the movie in a real FM station itself.”

“The story and treatment are going to be an entirely new experience for the Tamil cinema audience who have a special love for good horror movies. The other cast and crew are in the process of getting finalized. The details of them will be out very soon. I am very excited to bring this script onto the screen through the mighty Sathyaraj sir playing the lead,” he added. This untitled project will be produced by a new production house that is planning to leave no stone unturned in making this project significant and unique in his career. Sathyaraj was lastly seen playing the role of a police officer in ThalapathyVijay’s Mersal directed by Atlee and produced by Thenandal Studios Ltd. Mersal went on to become a blockbuster at the box office with record-breaking numbers.

Meanwhile, Sathyaraj‘s home production Sathya, which was an official remake of Telugu film Kshanam, fared well at the box office and earned good acclaim for Sibiraj’s acting.
