Saif-Kareena have a nickname for Taimur and it is just as small and sweet as the little one himself

Did you always think that Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi was too big a name for the cute little munchkin? Well, so did we and apparently even parents, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan shared our thoughts. So, they decided to make our lives and theirs a little easier by bestowing the little one with a nickname. Yes, so baby T has a pet name and while Taimur is all grown-up and serious, his alias is anything but. Taimur is called Tim by those close to him and we certainly want to call him the same, henceforth.

Honestly, if you ask us, Taimur does sound every bit nawaabi and befits the royal lineage that the little boy continues, but Tim is more in-sync with the paparazzi-friendly and poser tot that we know and love. So Tim it will be from now. The revelation was made by daddy Saif on Anupama Chopra and Rajeev Masand’s podcast and it was quite spontaneous. Saif was speaking about the manner in which he and Kareena plan on bringing up their tiny boy wonder despite the constant media attention and pressure. Saif said, “You have to sit him down, the minute he can understand it. And it’ll start with calling the people at home and not yelling. It’ll be manners, it’ll be Please, Thank You, Aadaab. It’ll be discipline from young age. At least we know these things. These Bombay kids are out of control. He’ll be very well behaved. And honestly if he does his namaste right, he’ll score points. Have you seen Sara’s aadaab when she was younger? This is it. This is what we need, a nice aadaab from Tim. TIM by the way.”

Talking about the kind of media attention that his son gets, Saif said, “He’s blue eyed. He’s a genetic treasure trove. He is. He is got a bit of Rabindranath Tagore, he’s got a bit of Raj Kapoor, he’s got a bit of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, he’s got a bit of Bhopal…I don’t know..he’s beyond me. He’s gone. Let’s see what happens.”

Well, we quite agree with Saif when he says that Taimur is a genetic treasure trove. We mean, have you seen the blue-eyed boy…he is the very definition of cuteness and if he turns out to be as well-behaved as his parents want him to be, he will be the man of everyone’s dreams for sure.
