The Dutt biopic is one film that we are keenly waiting for. Ever since it went on the floors, we have been waiting for the film to screen, not only because it is based on the life of a very popular Bollywood star but also because it stars a very popular Bollywood star who is doing his best to look and act like his inspiration. Here some from the sets of the biopic were indication enough of what we can expect from the film. Not even in one shot would Ranbir Kapoor look out of place as Sanjay Dutt. And all this hasn’t come easy. It has been a long and difficult schedule, going by the pictures of the actors post-shoot. They looked drained and tired but we are sure that the efforts will pay off.

And our prayers have finally been answered for the film has wrapped up. Yep, today was the last day of the shoot and Team Dutt biopic were in the mood to celebrate. A lot of cakes were ordered, champagne was popped and a round of selfies were clicked. The pictures are proof of just how much fun did the cast and crew had while shooting for the film despite the grueling hours. However, one particular picture caught our fancy – a selfie of Ranbir and Sonam. There hardly were times when the two were seen together post the promotions of their debut film, Saawariya. So this rare opportunity surely made us happy. Check out the pictures below…
Not just that, there we have also a few exclusive videos from the set, Check them out right here…

Well, sure seems like great fun, this wrap up party, doesn’t it? Earlier, talking to PTI, Ranbir had revealed how Sanjay Dutt gave inputs to help him out. He had said, “He hasn’t been a hypocrite about it (his life). So it’s not a propaganda film trying to portray him as God or something. We are trying to show a very human side of Sanjay Dutt, his perils, his downfall, his will to fight, his time in jail, terrorism charges, his drug phase, how he handled his mother’s death two days before the release of his debut film, his relationship with his father. These were human conflicts in his life.” The film also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal and Sonam Kapoor.
