Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan hosted a starry birthday party at their lavish bungalow, Mannat, in Bandra for their friend Kaajal Anand’s 50th birthday. The party was co-hosted by Karan Johar. We have earlier shared with you pictures of the guests in attendance as they arrive at the venue. Now as the new day begins, we are getting our hands on the pictures that tell us how awesome the party was. Well, it sure does beat any of the birthday parties we must have attended. From Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Rosha, Raveena Tandon, Deepika Padukone, Farah Khan were all making merry as they celebrated their dear friend’s 5oth birthday.

This won’t be the first when, on KJo’s insistence, B-town came together for a birthday bash being celebrated so extravagantly. When Manish Malhotra turned 50, Karan hosted a grand party which was attended by pretty much the entirety of Bollywood.

In case you are wondering what kind of bond KJo and Kaajal share, in an interview long back, Karan Johar had said they are a therapy panel for each other. “She’s my oldest friend. My grandmother knew her mom. I know that the first call I make in the middle of the night if I need something will be to Kajal (Putloo). Kajal, Gauri, Shah Rukh and I have spent many evenings together talking about life. We are a therapy panel for each other. Some of my greatest discussions have been with Gauri and Kajal for seven hours at a stretch not realising how time went by. I really believe Kajal is the best friend one can have. She’s loyal and sincere. Kajal is very special and I feel as if I have known her all my life,” he had said.
