Do you like Sushant Singh Rajput's look from Son Chiriya?
Just when everyone was wondering what’s going to be the next surprise from Sushant Singh Rajput, here comes the first look of his next film, Son Chiriya. Yes, the same Abhishek Chaubey film which was initially referred to as Chambal considering it’s based on the dacoits of Chambal. While the film also stars Bhumi Pedenkar. Sushant just shared his dacoit look and boy, what a transformation. One look at the above picture and you will know what we are trying to say; especially his heavy beard that’s making his makeover look even more impactful.
We love how Sushant is experimenting with his roles, one film at a time. Where he played a simple, guy next door in Kai Po Che, he also made the nation bow down to him by stepping into the shoes of India’s Captain MS Dhoni through the award-winning biopic. And now with a film like Son Chiriya, there’s definitely no stopping to Sushant and his awesomeness. Let’s not forget, this is not just his first as a dacoit but also his first film with Bhumi and Abhishek Chaubey.

Talking about Son Chiriya, Bhumi recently said, “I have never really chased a ‘breaking that mould’… I am not an actor who sees that now I will do romantic, urban, thriller films. I am not that sort of an actor. I purely go by my instinct when I read a script. I have some brilliant co-stars in this film, and you have to up your game all the time. So, it is a lot of good and nervous energy together.”
Manoj Bajpayee too is a part of this film as he had recently commented, “I always wanted to work with Abhishek as I’m a huge admirer of his work. I have seen all his films, from Ishqiya and Dedh Ishqiya to Udta Punjab. He picks his stories from rural or semi-urban areas and weaves them beautifully. When I got a chance to be a part of his story-telling, I couldn’t turn it down.
