Bhaagamathie box office collection day 1: Anushka Shetty’s film starts off on a fantastic note, rakes in Rs 12 crore worldwide

Anushka Shetty's Bhaagamathie has started off well at the worldwide box office on day 1!

Anushka Shetty‘s Bhaagamathie was one of the most exciting Telugu releases of the year and looks like it has started off with a bang. The film is Anushka’s first post Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, so, a lot was expected from her and she has totally delivered. Not only has she impressed everyone with her stellar act, but Bhaagamathie is also performing well at the worldwide box office. The film started off on a fantastic note, raking in Rs 12 crore at the worldwide market on day 1. As trade analyst and industry tracker, Ramesh Bala revealed on Twitter, ” #Bhaagamathie performing like a queen at the Box office. World wide Telugu Version grossed upto Rs 12 crore on day 1 & 2nd day started on a strong note. Thrilling elements, gripping screenplay, Anushka performance and Brand @UV_Creations drawing crowds in big number all over.”

As he revealed, Bhaagamathie is performing well on day 2 as well and we expect it to earn in excess of Rs 10 crore on the second day too. The strong content, fantastic pre-release buzz, tremendous performances and a considerable screen space has enabled the movie to perform so well. In fact, it has competition from a few South films and even the Telugu version of Padmaavat. Earning such a decent amount, even with such competition, is commendable!
