In case you did not know, Will Smith was in India. Streaming services mogul Netflix has realised the untapped potential and the sheer love of binge-watch in Indians. They are leaving no stone unturned to impress the territory here. They are already shooting for the first Indian Netflix original series, Sacred Games, featuring Saif Ali Khan. And another one with Shah Rukh Khan on board as producer is in works. It comes as no surprise that they made Will Smith fly down to India to promote their upcoming sci-fi action original film, Bright.

The Hollywood action was in India for the past few days. He interacted with media at select events and left everyone in awe. But in case you are planning on to stalk him in India- too late. The actor has already left the country to fly off to next touring spot. He was spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina airport in Mumbai, which is a haven for Bollywood and Hollywood stars looking to safely and privately jet off to international cities. The actor was happy to spot the paparazzi there and happily smiled and waved at the cameras. India has certainly left a good impression on him.

This is not Will Smith’s first visit to India. This is his fourth. He even jokes about moving in with Akshay Kumar, who was a gracious host last time around. In an interview with Vogue, Will said, “I should just move in with Akshay [Kumar]. I was just talking about that. We had a dinner at his place last time I was here, and it was literally the best food I’ve ever had. It just didn’t feel right to call him and ask him to send food because I’m not gonna be able to stop by. One thing I love about India is the food at Akshay’s, that’s the absolute best.”

Bright tells the story of an alternate universe where humans and fantasy creatures dwell together. Will Smith plays a cop whose partner is an Orc. They find themselves embroiled deep in the magical world one night after a mysterious encounter with a dark force.
