Here is a treat for Salman Khan fans!
It is Salman Khan’s birthday and the actor is riding high on the success of Tiger Zinda Hai. The action entertainer is winning audiences all over with its mind-blowing action, Salman – Katrina chemistry and background score. Today, Bhushan Kumar of TSeries announced on Twitter that he is collaborating with Atul Agnihotri for Bharat. The film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. This is the actor’s third film with Zafar after Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai. The film will be released on Eid 2019. It will be shot in Spain, Abu Dhabi and India. It is an adaptation of the film Ode To My Father. In a media statement, Bhushan Kumar said, “We have had a long-standing association with Salman Khan from when we acquired the music of Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. We produced Bhai’s two other films Lucky: No Time For Love and Ready, both of which were successful collaborations. Atul and I gel well and we decided to join hands on Bharat, a human drama that is bound to touch you beyond measure. Speaking about T-Series coming on board, Atul Agnihotri said, “In life, you just click with some people. Bhushan and I have interacted many a times in the past. His sensibility for content matched with ours. So having T-Series on board with us on Bharat was a very smooth and organic process for both of us.”
Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri had earlier told PTI, “It’s the journey of a country and also a person, both of whom go by the name of Bharat. That film is just the starting point for ours but since it was an inspiration, we wanted in all fairness to officially own it and acquired the remake rights before going ahead with Bharat.” Next year, the actor has Race 3, which will release mostly on Eid. It will clash with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – Anil Kapoor – Rajkummar Rao’s Fanney Khan.

Agnihotri also told PTI, “It’s a character that I thought would resonate with him. It’s a huge responsibility making a film with Salman as there are big expectations that come with the job. I’m very conscious about Salman’s fan base and what they want. And once again, I’m convinced that being a family film it’s worthy of coming during the festive time. And anyway, an Eid release is always every producer’s preferred choice.” Salman Khan brought in his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse with a select few friends. He has been shooting round the clock for Race 3 that also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah.
