Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's 2018 calendar looks really impressive!
Last time we saw aishwarya rai bachchan on a big screen it was Diwali 2016 when Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released. So it’s been more than a year since we saw the woman mesmerising us in a film. Since then we kept hearing about various projects that the actress is apparently giving her nod to. But guess what? While 2017 left us without any of Ash’s charm spreading on the big screen, 2018 will give three films to cheer her. Not only will she be seen in Fanne Khan, she will also be doing the remake of Nargis starrer Raat Aur Din and a double role in a thriller. It is the latter that’s got us really excited.
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Prernaa Arora revealed, “Working with Aishwarya on Fanne Khan has been a pleasure. Now, there are two more films we are collaborating on with her. Siddharth Anand will be co-producing the film with me, which is an edgy thriller. This film will see Aishwarya in a double role and we will soon finalise the leading man opposite her.” Talking about the remake of Raat Aur Din, she said, “It will be a homage to Nargisji and is a special project for all of us. Aishwarya has already said that she would love to play the main role. I have also discussed the project with Sanjay sir (Dutt), and he has approved of the idea and our choice of Ash to play the role originally essayed by his late actress-mother.”
Now we have seen Aishwarya in double roles before. She had a dual role in her first movie Iruvar where she played Puspavalli and Kalpana. Later, she was also seen in a double role in Jeans. So for her getting into two characters at once won’t be a big deal. The best part is we will get to see Aishwarya twice in one movie…isn’t that a great thing?
