Trisha Krishnan joins Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Sachin Tendulkar to become another celebrity advocate at the UNICEF

Trisha Krishnan appointed the celebrity Advocate at UNICEF!
As per the latest news, Trisha Krishnan, a leading actor in The Tamil industry has been appointed the celebrity advocate at UNICEF. A function was held to confer the honour upon her. She reportedly interacted with 50 kids. On being declared the celebrity advocate the actress said,”If all the girls attend school up to 18 years we can eliminate child marriage and child labour. In the long run, a girl’s education will contribute to the reduction of maternal and infant mortality and malnutrition among children.”. The actress looked gorgeous at the event. She happens to be the first South Indian actor to be appointed the celebrity advocate. 

She has now joined the ranks of Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Sachin and Priyanka Chopra to become yet another celebrity advocate at the UNICEF, reports Surendhar MK.

In other news, Trisha is shooting for several films – She is all set to make her Malayalm debut with Hey Jude , that also stars Nivin Pauly. The first poster revealed a nerdy looking Nivin with Trisha seated on a scooty. It’s touted to be a love story about transformation and self discovery. She has also been shooting for 96 that stars Vijay Sethupathi. There has been no news of Mohini’s release where she reportedly plays a  chef and a blogger. She will also be part of Garjanai, The Tamil remake of NH10.

She also has 1919, a film based on Mumbai’s terrorist attacks. She will also share screen space with Arvind in the sequel to the 2014 hit film – Sathuranga Vettai. Sh was last seen in Kodi opposite Dhanush where she played a negative character. She won several accolades for her grey act.
