Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Ragnarok continued to mint gold in its second weekend at the box office. After enjoying the great opening week, the Marvel flick again showed an upward trend over the weekend and crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in India. Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh, shared the collection on his Twitter account, by tweeting, “#ThorRagnarok crosses ₹ 50 cr mark… [Week 2] Fri 2.14 cr, Sat 3.62 cr, Sun 4.25 cr. Total: ₹ 50.38 cr Nett. GrossBOC: ₹ 64.66 cr. India biz.” By looking at the current trend, we can expect Thor to cross Rs 60 crore by the end of its second week.

The third installment of the Thor franchise, which was released in IMAX 3D, 3D and 2D across 1,200 screens received a thunderous response from the audience. In the latest title, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) reunites with his fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). The two go on a fun-filled adventurous journey to save Asgard. They are joined by Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban and Anthony Hopkins.

The film has received rave reviews from the critics across the globe. Asked if he is open to work in a Bollywood film, Hemsworth told in a round-table conference: “Sure. I’d go where the fun is and then scripts are… if there was a great script, I’d be up for anything.”
