Sagarika and Zaheer held a reception in Mumbai’s St Regis, where they welcomed their guests from the world of cricket and Bollywood. They stepped out for a photo op as a host of paparazzi were waiting for them outside the venue.
The newlywed couple was looking gorgeous to the core. Sagarika chose a peach coloured saree for the occasion and was lookings stunning. A black blazer with a Chinese collar made Zaheer even more handsome. They held each other tightly as they posed for pics. They had been busy with the ceremonies since morning, but not a single sign of tiredness was visible on their face. Of course, both of them are very happy to start the new phase of their life together.
In an earlier interview, Sagarika revealed that she will continue working as an actress after marriage! Sagarika stated, “Definitely, I’m just looking at doing some good work.” She also confirmed that she would love to do more roles and hopes to bag good offers in the coming days. “Big or small, the medium doesn’t matter. I did a Marathi film (Premachi Goshta in 2013) because it helped me grow as an actor. I’m guessing priorities will change after marriage but Zaheer is supportive of my decision knowing I love being on the sets,” she concluded.
Considering it’s an inter-religious marriage, ask the 38-year-old Zaheer if they faced any issues in convincing each other’s families, he says, “Both our families are evolved enough to understand that it’s about marrying the right person over marrying into the same religion. It’s important to be a good human being.” Sagarika too seconded his thoughts saying, “My parents are also open-minded and their primary concern was that I marry the right person. I am sure they may have had their apprehensions, but after meeting him, it cleared a lot of things for them. He is perfect.”
