golmaal again has done something which no film this year could manage. It has crossed Rs 200 crore mark, making it the only film to do so. It had become the highest grossing film of 2017 long back and now, it has also become Ajay Devgn’s first Rs 200 crore film and Rohit Shetty’s second after Chennai Express. This makes ajay devgn and Rohit Shetty one of the most successful director-actor jodis ever. They have together given more than four Rs 100 crore films which itself is a huge deal.
Honestly, the Golmaal series is a hit not just because of Ajay Devgn but for the entire cast and also for those amazing jokes. Everyone of them will crack you up. But Devgn obviously has a bigger role to play here as he is the superstar in the franchise. Shetty did try to give different colour to Ajay’s characters in all the films. In the first one, he was bully, second had him as a frightened husband of a suspicious wife, the third film saw him as a hot headed person while Golmaal Again mostly saw him running scared of ghosts only to fall for one. The actor managed to get all the shades bang on and thus deserves to be applauded for it.
