Congratulations Disha Vakani!
Disha Vakani has become a mother to a baby girl. The baby was born at the Hiranandani Hospital. Popular as Dayaben from the show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah, Disha is doing fine. She got married to Mumbai based businessman Mayur Padia in 2015 and this is her first child. The lady keeps a low profile as far as her personal life is concerned so we did not see any pregnancy shoots and all the works. Disha started her career with Gujarati theatreand was seen in films like Devdas , Mangal Pandey and Jodha Akbar.
Disha made her TV debut with Khichdi in a guest appearance. But it was the part of Dayaben in Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that changed things for her. As Daya Gadha, a simple housewife with a nasal twang, she endeared herself to millions. Disha along with co star Dilip Joshi became one of TV’s most popular stars. For nine years, the SAB TV comedy show has been one of the most watched shows across all channels.
This year, Disha was on maternity leave for last 4 months. On the show, it was shown that she is at her mom’s place and was communicating via phone calls. The team of Taarak Mehta will be visiting Disha today in the hospital. Incidentally, Daya was shown longing for a baby girl and a track of the same was shown last year. And now she has been blessed with a baby girl in real life, too. Wishing Disha Vakani and her husband Mayur heartiest congratulations for the baby girl. We can’t wait to see pictures of her baby.
