Today was shah rukh khan‘s better half, Gauri’s birthday and the family had gone to Alibaug to celebrate her birthday. She has turned 47 today. The bash was strictly a family affair, joined by close friends like Farah Khan. And now after celebrating her birthday, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri returned to Mumbai by a private boat along with Farah and they were welcomed by the fans at the Gateway of India. So if you were at the place today, and had no clue why people were shouting, I am sorry you missed your chance to see Mr Khan.

As per a report in DNA, the bash almost got canceled thanks to the thunderstorms in Mumbai. However, a source revealed, “It rained heavily with thunder and lighting the day before her birthday. Looking at that, they were thinking of cancelling it but later the rains stopped and the couple proceeded to Alibaug to ring in her 47th birthday.”
If you are wondering why they were in Alibaug, Shah Rukh Khan owns an expensive farmhouse there, where he had celebrated his last birthday (just like Salman celebrates his at his farmhouse in Panvel). It is said to be built on an acre land in the place.
