2.0 audio launch is going to be a grand affair
Saying 2.0 is the most-awaited film would definitely be an understatement. Firstly it marks the union of Rajinikanth and akshay kumar on the big screen for the very first time. Secondly, we will get to see Akshay in a negative role after what seems like forever. And lastly it’s the most expensive film coming out of the Indian entertainment industry. So it doesn’t come as a surprise then the makers are going way too many extra miles when it comes to promotions. The entire team is in Dubai right now for the grand audio launch that is about to begin in few minutes. The music maestro, AR Rahman, who has composed for the film will be performing Live. Of course that’s the main highlight of the evening, but hosts Rana Daggubatti and Karan Johar are going to make it extra special. Yep!
We had already told you that Rana has flew to Dubai to host the event, but now we can also confirm that KJo will be hosting along with him. Ramesh Bala, film industry tracker, took to Twitter sometime back and posted a picture of Johar along with the creative head of Lyca Production (producers of 2.0), Raju Mahalingam. The audio launch will be followed by a teaser in November post which the trailer will be dropped upon us in December. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 25, 2018. Sequel to Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer, Enthiran, 2.0 also stars Amy Jackson.
