Curiously, Tabu Is Missing From The Song
Trust the makers of the Golmaal series to come up with the zaniest songs, that are highly hummable. Every Golmaal film has that one song that turns out to be a lively, full-of-life number, that encapsulates the feel of the entire film and by extension, also the franchise. For the newest installment of the film, the makers have come up with yet another song that lives up to expectations. Titled, Maine Tujhko Dekha, the song is a reprised version of the Ishq song, Neend Churayi Meri. Surprised? Well, even we were!
The song has been crooned by Neeraj Shridhar and Sukriti Kakar, composed by Amaal Mallik and Anu Malik, with lyrics penned by Kumaar and Rahat Indori. While the opening tunes of the song are the same, the rest of the song is quite different from the one it seeks inspiration from. Only one line, ‘Neend churayi meri, kisne oh sanam…tune’ has been retained and rest of the lyrics have been tailored to suit the needs of the film and the song.

From the visuals, it is evident that Gopal aka Ajay Devgn is trying to woo his love interest, Parineeti Chopra, even as his boy gang comprising of Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu, egg him on. Curiously, Tabu is missing from the song. However, the vibe of the song is quite upbeat and will instantly lift your sagging spirits. The makers have been intelligent enough to release the song on a Friday of an impending extended weekend. What better time to get the song some traction.

The visuals, inkeeping with the feel of the song, are refreshing too. It has a very retro feel to it, with a lot of bright colours and happy faces to make the song stand out.
