Emmys 2017: Priyanka Chopra makes a shimmering style statement in a studded Balmain gown

This year the event was held in Microsoft theater in Los Angeles.  2017 has not only been a year for HBO shows but also for streaming services like Amazon, Netflix and Hulu that have had nominations aplenty in various categories As per reports on Verve, at least 120 nominations between them! Netflix’ Stranger Things is the one leading this pack that also happens to include Handmaid’s Tale, House of Cards and Master of None. But HBO’s Westworld and Saturday Night live have raced ahead of these streaming shows, having at least 22 nominations each. Phew! While there is a sense of excitement about the winners across each nominations, for us Bollywood fans, priyanka chopra presenting the award is excitement enough!

The actress finally made her much awaited appearance at the red Carpet in an exotic Balmain gown adored with jewels. The ivory coloured gown had a feathery hem to flaunt giving it a bold, eccentric statement. She teamed the gown with dark berry lips and a sleek ponytail. This joke was nothing compared to the flirtacious banter that Priyanka and Thor star Tom Hiddleston shared last year at the Emmys. Before they presented the award, he even let do her little twirl on stage! Their flirtatious camaraderie was the talk of the town last year.
