sara ali khan and sushant singh rajput will soon kickstart shooting of kedarnath
It is happening. Kedarnath is going on floors. The Abhishek Kapoor directed movie will also act as the launch pad for Saif Ali Khan-Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. Sushant Singh Rajput has been roped in to play the male lead in this ambitious project which is a love story set in the backdrop of the popular Indian pilgrimage Kedarnath. For weeks we were presenting you pictures of Sara and Sushant PARTICIPATING IN SCRIPT READING SESSIONS and now we have pictures of the two celebs leaving town to begin the next phase of Kedarnath.
sushant and Sara have head off to Dehradun, and were snapped by the paparazzi at the airport today. They will soon kickstart shooting of Kedarnath, in the holy city. Sushant was dressed in a casual Tee and denim jeans, and had a companion with him for the flight. No, not Sara. But the actor had a very thick book “Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow” by Yuval Noah Harari in his hands. Wow! The title sounds splendid. On the other hand Sara balanced perfectly between being casually dressed and making it fashionable. The white cold-shoulder top looked pretty. She flashed a smile to the cameras; the girl is certainly ecstatic that her dream of becoming an actress is finally taking shape.
Not much has been known about the plot of Kedarnath but we are aware that Sushant Singh Rajput will play the role of a pitthoo, and Sara will be seen as a simple small town girl. The Kedarnath tragedy of 2013 will also be incorporated in the story.
Talking about Kedarnath, co-producer, Ekta Kapoor has said, “When we heard the story, we knew this was it. It’s Sara’s debut opposite Sushant. That makes it a fresh pair and adds an edge to the project. Kedarnath is an emotional and riveting tale that blends India’s beauty with a love story from the heartland,” We wonder if the story will somehow include the Kedarnath tragedy of 2013. The “emotional” and “riveting” part has us pretty intrigued.
