Saaho is not just one of the most awaited projects down South but also in Bollywood. The film stars Telugu superstar prabhas who is teaming up for the first time with Bollywood actress – Shraddha Kapoor. This intriguing pair was confirmed only two-three weeks ago. Now as per reports on Mumbai Mirror, there is quite the squad for Prabhas’ Saaho. The film will also star Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mandira Bedi and Tinnu Anand.
Mandira will be playing a negative character by the name of Kalki. The actress was in fact with Jackie Shroff in Hyderabad. until recently. They also shot for hand to hand combat sequences. Chunky, Mahesh and Tinnu also have significant roles. The film also stars playback singer turned actor Arun Vijay and Malayalam actor Mohanlal! This quite the starry cast! Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the lead antagonist.
The film is being produced on a grand scale. International stunt choreographers have been brought on board to can the sequences, The film will be shot across exotic locales in Romania, Abu Dhabi, and Mumbai, Hyderabad. Prabhas will take on a whole, new bad ass avatar. The film is touted to be a high octane, racy, edgy actioner. Only recently, Prabhas had joined the sets of Saaho. He took to social media to announce his return to work after a four month break. “It’s shoot time almost after four and a half years of the Baahubali journey. Excited to enter a new action world. The film will release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
After Baahubali’s roaring success, Prabhas has become India’s coveted star across industries. Everyone wants to be associated with Prabhas in some way. It’s no wonder Saaho is one of the most anticipated projects. The film is set to release only in 2018.
