Now, we have a new batch of pictures where you can see the Dutt family bidding farewell to their Ganesha idol. Sanjay who is a devotee of Ganpati and loves celebrating the festival dedicated to the God. “We celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at my house. We worship him a lot,” the actor has said in an interview. His kids Shahraan and Iqra were also present with him and they seemed to be enjoying the festivity. Check out the pics below…
Call it a co-incidence, but in his upcoming film Bhoomi, sanjay plays an ardent devotee of Lord Ganesha. In fact, the trailer of the film starts with a scene of Sanjay praying to Ganesha, while chanting the aarti. Also, there is a aarti that has been entirely sung by Sanjay, which will appear in the film. The audio of the same was released two days back and is pretty enchanting. Talking about the song Sanjay had said, right before recording it, “When asked about the song, Sanjay had said, “It is also a very important part in the film. We all sat down and decided that we should make a song which depicts this main part of the film. The training is going on, right now I am learning how to sing the song. I am not a singer. The song has to be sung very beautifully, so I am trying my best to sound better. I am a bit nervous, but let’s see.”
The Ganeshotsav has been pretty good for the actor. At Mukesh Ambani’s residence, he and long time friend Salman Khan hugged and proved to the world that they are still going strong, contradictory to the reports that claimed they are having a fall out.
Sanjay Dutt’s Bhoomi is slated to release on September 22.
