Ever since pictures of shah rukh khan and Kabir Khan have hit the web, people have been busy speculating if they are collaborating for a film together. In fact, given that the duo met at Shankar Mahadevan’s recording studio last night, it was only obvious that their meeting was strictly professional and not a personal. But our source EXCLUSIVELY reveals to us that they are NOT in talks for any film whatsoever. In stead, their last night’s meeting was only to discuss the long impending edit of their feature film for Dubai Tourism. Remember the one that they shot earlier in May this year? Kabir had even confirmed the same saying, “I’m in Dubai shooting a short film with Shah Rukh Khan for Dubai tourism.”

Turns out the entire team working on this ad film featuring Shah Rukh Khan have been facing a lot of creative differences since the last few months. People from Dubai too didn’t really like the way it has been shot and Kabir is having his own battle finding out ways to make it look impressive. So considering all of this, SRK has now intervened to suggest his changes and finalise the edits and from what we hear, yesterday’s meeting was pretty fruitful. But it’s left to see how the ad film eventually turns out to be.

Let’s not forget Shah Rukh and Kabir Khan recently worked together in Tubelight, with SRK’s special apperance. When Kabir was asked about his equation with Shah Rukh and how did he convince SRK to reunite with Salman for his film, he had said, “I have known Shah Rukh for years. He was the only one I knew when I came to Mumbai. We were in the same college (in Delhi), he was my senior in the film school, I studied from his notes. Gauri and I danced in stage productions. Obviously when we went to him, I told Salman that we should have Shah Rukh for the role. Shah Rukh was ready in an instant. That day the entire crew became an audience. Everybody left their work and were watching the shoot. Just the energy of the two of them… Both of them are powerhouses and to see them after 20 years, it’s going to be a treat.”
