We were at the trailer launch of Shah Rukh Khan’s next film Jab Harry Met Sejal, which is merely two weeks away from release.
This full-fledged trailer was makers’ final attempt, after mini trails and songs, to draw as many fans as they can. anushka sharma, who stars alongside SRK for the third time, was present at the event, along with the talented director of the film, Imtiaz Ali. She danced her way in to the venue, which was occupied by media personnels. She stepped on stage amidst loud cheers, and thus began a wait for SRK to pop on the giant screen through a video con. The actor was not able to make it to the event in person, as he was in LA, so the video con came in handy. The actor was fashionably late, even through a video call, though no one in this world would mind waiting for a superstar like him.

Jab Harry Met Sejal releases on August 4. The movie narrates the story of a girl named Sejal, who has lost her engagement ring on her family trip across Budapest, Lisbon, Amsterdam. She ditches her family on the way back to India, and enlists help of her tour guide Harry, to find the ring. And in the process they find themselves, hopefully – like every Imtiaz Ali film, with a Rumi quote.
