Vip 2 New Poster - Kajol And Dhanush Are Bringing In Their A-game.
As we all know, VIP 2 (Velaiilla Pattadhari 2) will be out with its teaser today at 4pm! This movie has has had us attention for two primary reasons – Soundarya Rajinikanth is helming this project and for the first time ever, Dhanush and Bollywood star Kajol are teaming up for his bi-lingual film in Tamil and Telugu. The latter reason has got us specially excited because two actors form different industries collaborating for a movie. Whta’s more interesting, Kajol will be playing the lead antagonist. This movie will mark her comeback to Tamil cinema after 19 years. This movie may be the sequel to the 2014 hit movie Velaiilla Pattadhari, but the story is brand new! Just to pique our excitement for the teaser today – The makers have released a brand new poster. It features the lead pair – Dhanush and Kajol. Considering they are at loggerheads with each other in the movie, there is an interesting power play going on in the poster. Their chemistry is great! Don’t you think? No doubt, they are one of the most interesting pairs of 2017!
Dhanush is in awe of Kajol – “Kajol ma’am is full of energy. Her energy is so infectious that it motivated people to work with the same enthusiasm. She is a very friendly and warm person. We had a great time working with her.” said the actor as per reports on HT. As for Kajol, she did reveal at a n earlier red carpet event that she was apprehensive and excited about this Tamil movie. She found Dhanush talented and got along with Soundarya Rajinikanth right form the beginning.
The movie will retain the erst of the cast – Samuthirakan, Saranya Ponvannan, Amala Paul. The film is all set to release on July 28 which happens to be Dhanush’s birthday!
