Varun Dhawan And Prabhas Enact The Most Famous Scene From Baahubali And Get It Spot On!

It’s been nearly 50 days since the biggest blockbuster hit theaters but looks like Bollywood is suffering from a Baahubali hangover. Only last night, Karan Johar held a get-together at his place and much to our pleasant surprise the onscreen Bahaubali brothers, also Tollywood stars  – Prabhas and Rana Daggubati were part of this bash apart from Bollywood stars – Alia, Varun, Siddharth. While it was great to see two industries mingle freely what caught our attention more was an inside pic of Varun and Prabhas enacting the iconic Kattappa-Bahaubali scene. As you can see in the pic, Varun Dhawan wedged in the sword from the back, and Prabhas sincerely pretended to die. Of course, the Telugu star found it as amusing as we did, his laugh says it all.  Have to say, their act was nothing short of epic! Varun Dhawan clearly got it spot on while Prabhas was truly in character.

For those who haven’t watched Baahubali; The Conclusion (What?!) This is an iconic scene from the magnum Opus wherein Mahishmati kingdom’s most royal slave kills the king on the queen’s orders. This scene was the central theme of Part 2. This was primarily the reason why fans went to watch the second part to finally know why Katttappa killed Bahaubali.

It was only last evening, Prabhas arrived in Mumbai. Speculations were rife that the actor was in the city to begin shoot for Saaho but turns out, he was here on Karan Johar’s invitation.

In other news, Prabhas is set to start shooting for Saaho in fulls wing. He is reuniting with Devasena aka Anushka Shetty for this actioner as well. Both will be sen in a brand new avatar in this high octane actioner. The film is helmed by Sujeeth. They will be shooting across exotic locales Abu Dhabi being one of them. We already saw a glimpse of Prabhas’ bad ass avatar in the teaser that released along with the movie. The film is slated for a 2018 release.
