SS RAJAMOULI Lays Down His Condition To Work With Rajinikanth And It Will Make You Respect Him Even More

The nation wide frenzy over Baahubali 2 shows no signs of waning even a wee bit. SS RAJAMOULI’S magnum opus has won hearts with its simple tale of the win of good over evil. It is a perfect example of an Indian product shining in a competitive scenario. Prabhas is being considered as a pan-India superstar and fans are adoring Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj as well. The collections are good even out of India in places like the US and UK. The film has made close to Rs 400 crore in India and the overall collections are more than 800 crores. Baahubali 2 is made on a budget of Rs 250 crore.

Now, everyone is curious to know whom will SS Rajamouli work with next. Bollywood wanted to know if he did do a film with Aamir Khan and people in Tamil Nadu are curious if the maverick maker will collaborate with Rajinikanth or not? SS Rajamouli, who is now on a small vacay in London has answered the penultimate question. Yes, in a chat with a BBC Correspondent, the Baahubali director stated, “Rajinikanth is humility personified. 

He’s a huge star in India and people are dying to just see him on the screen. To make a film with Rajinikanth will be a dream come true for any director and I’m not an exception. But I always believe that it’s the story that should drive you. If I come up with something like that and if the story inspires me, I would be happy to work with him.” 

This reply from him must warm the hearts of Rajinikanth fans. It is an assurance that when the two come together, it will be sheer magic. The South superstar had heaped his love on Rajamouli after seeing the second part of the epic film.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion takes off from where the first part ended of Katappa killing Amarenda Baahubali. The film talks about how his son Shivudu/Mahendra frees the Mahishmathi Kingdom from the reign of the evil Bhallaladeva and his father. We saw Prabhas and Anushka Shetty in bigger roles in the film.
