Shruti Haasan Looks Like A Diva On The Red Carpet.
Shruti Haasan is at Cannes for her film Sanghamitra which was launched there. She has been making some really cool red carpet fashion statement but as is the norm, they are under a lot of scrutiny. Yesterday, Sanghamitra was launched at the do and the lady stepped out looking gorgeous as hell in a black and gold Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla saree ensemble.
We have the pictures of Shruti from the do and let us tell you, they are simply breathtaking. She looks unbelievably good. In fact, honestly, at first go, we couldn’t even recognise that this amazing looking lady is our Shruti Haasan. The ring is by Misho while ear stud is courtesy Anomaly. She was styled by Shreeja Rajagopalan with hair and makeup by Tarryn Kelly. We have looked at these pictures again and again and we are pretty sure, she must have turned heads at the do with that chic looking saree. Makes us wish one too. Sanghamitra is a fictional historical drama to be mounted on a huge budget at part with Baahubali 2. And like the latter, it will also be released in two parts. Recently, the plot of the film was revealed at Cannes which read, “Sanghamitra is a tale which goes back to 8th century AD. telling the trials and tribulations of the protagonist Sanghamithra, whose beauty is unparalleled and her journey to save the kingdom. It’s the story of many kingdoms, many equations, many relationships told in an ambitious, larger than life, visually extravagant manner. Sanghamithra is aimed at the being the crown jewel of Tamil films, an ode to the oldest language in the world. While this is a piece of fiction, there are unexplored chapters in India’s ancient History which will be opened through Sanghamitra in the most visually beautiful manner.
