Late night discussions with Shah Rukh Khan lands Imtiaz Ali on the highway

Rehnuma is scheduled to release in August around the Independence Day weekend.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Rehnuma . The movie has the actor and the director get into very long discussions, some which even bring them to the road. Like what happened last night, when Shah Rukh Khan sent out a tweet about having a discussion with Imtiaz Ali on the Highway. He also posted a pic along with that tweet, that has a person who seems to be Imtiaz Ali taking a cycle ride in the night (Salman Khan influence, is it?). The caption of the story went like this, ‘Late nite discussions with my director Imtiaz. He said Aaj Kal main sirf Highway par Tamasha karta hoon.’ Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan mentions three Imtiaz Ali movie in that tweet – Love Aaj Kal (At least the ‘Aaj Kal’ part is there), Tamasha and Highway.

We can understand Imtiaz Ali’s fascination for highways and travelling which has been there right from his debut movie, Socha Na Tha to his other movies like Jab We Met, Rockstar, Highway and Tamasha. This is the first time Imtiaz Ali is working with Shah Rukh Khan, and from what we heard, even Rehnuma also has a lot of travel involved, since Shah Rukh Khan is playing a guide in the movie. Anushka Sharma is the leading lady. This is the third time Anushka Sharma is acting with Shah Rukh Khan after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
