Anushka Stops Interview Mid-Way To Attend A Call From A Journalist's Mother

Actress Anushka Sharma, who has gradually carved her way to the top in the film industry by way of carefully choosing and producing content-driven films, is extremely busy these days promoting her forthcoming film Phillauri.

Recently, during one such film promotion event, the actress did something really cool. Sharma, who along with co-actor Diljit Dosanjh was addressing a press conference, stopped mid-way to attend a journalist's mother's phone call. The phone was kept right in front of the actors on a table to record Anushka and Dosanjh's answers.

The 28-year-old actress very comfortable picked up the phone, called out that the concerned journalist's mother was calling and spontaneously answered the call. She said, "Hi aunty, she (your daughter) is in an interview right now, she will call you later. I am Anushka." Sharma went ahead to ask the journalist's name and told her mother that the reporter would call her once the interview was over. "Aunty she will call you later. She's taking my interview," said Sharma over the phone.

Her spontaneity left everyone, including her co-star Dosanjh, in splits.

 
Phillauri is slated for release on March 24, is Anushka's second film as a producer after the critically acclaimed NH10.
