Ranbir Kapoor is going all out to get into the skin of actor Sanjay Dutt for his upcoming biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani. As if putting on 13 kilos to match Dutt’s physique wasn’t enough, reports now claim that the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actor will sport the same tattoos as Sanjay in the film. The Bollywood hunk will allegedly sit down with the same artist who designed Dutt’s tattoos and get similar designs for himself. These tattoos will be for the portions in the film, where Ranbir will be seen playing the older version of the star.
Ranbir is truly going the extra mile for this biopic. He has adopted Dutt’s unique strut for the film by watching almost 200 hours of footage, transformed himself physically and is even sporting a wig to properly resemble the actor’s iconic 90’s mane.
As far as tattoos are concerned, while Ranbir does not have any in real life, he has sported body ink for his films in the past.
While Ranbir is currently shooting for portions from Sanjay Dutt’s young age, the team has started putting together all that they need to figure out for the next schedule, which will show him play a much older Sanjay. The film also stars Dia Mirza in the role of Sanjay’s wife Maanayata and Paresh Rawal in the role of his father Sunil Dutt.
