Social media is flooded with selfies of enthusiastic celebrity voters who exercised their franchise in the ongoing BMC elections. Bollywood came in full attendance to participate. Celebrities were pictured outside the polling booths and they took to Twitter to urge others to cast their vote.
Ranveer Singh Took to his Twitter handle to post a picture of him with his finger inked and kept it simple by adding a caption- "Vote". The actor can be seen in a neon t-shirt, a cap and sunnies.

One of the first to cast her vote from B-town was Bollywood actress Anushka sharma . The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actress took to Instagram to share an image of her inked finger. Having done her bit for the country, she urged others to cast their vote. She wrote, "Started my morning by casting my vote. Voting is our collective duty towards our country & its progress. Pls go out & vote #VoteKarMaharashtra".
Aamir Khan's wife Kiran Rao was spotted too.
The 'Madras Cafe' actor said, "The BMC Elections are important as they help in solving ground issues and infrastructure issues. I would request everyone to vote. Make sure you study your candidates properly so that you can determine which candidate is good (sic)" Stressing on the importance of making each vote count, John added, "My entire family has voted."
Actress Sharaddha kapoor posted a picture to her social media account and tweeted, "Done voting. Please exercise your right & go vote!"
Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanayata dutt also posed for the cameras outside the polling booth in Bandra.
Others who came in to cast their vote included directors Zoya Akhtar , Gulzar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
