Alia Bhatt might be only 5 years old in the industry but she has already delivered stupendous hits like ‘Highway’, ‘Udta Punjab’ and many more. The girl surely has come a long way.

Work has kept the young lady quite busy lately. But there’s something that she wants to learn in between shoots. What could it be? Well, the bubbly actress wants to master the art of cooking and she also wants to learn how to play the piano. While she has already tried her hand at singing, she now wants to attempt perfecting the art of playing the piano too.
Alia, who recently moved out of her parents’ home to her own pad that she shares with sister Shaheen, has been learning to live independently and working towards setting up her new home.
The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming flick, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ with Varun Dhawan.

The 23-year-old actress goes on to reveal that after the release of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, she has a couple of months’ break before she starts prep for Dragon, Ayan Mukerji’s superhero fantasy-adventure with Ranbir Kapoor. And Alia, who has already bought herself a house and a car and is not greedy for more, plans to use the time to travel. “I also want to learn how to cook and play the piano. Earlier I’d planned to do a film between these two but nothing interesting came my way. Now, I’m glad for the break because once I’m back on set, I’ll be nervous and raw again. Also, I find myself getting repetitive in small ways. Maybe I’m imagining or over-thinking but I plan to make good use of this time off,” she promises.

Meanwhile, prep for Dragon has already begun for the production team as the film will require a lot of work before it goes on the floors around mid-2017. “I will start my prep once Ranbir is done with the Sanjay Dutt biopic as it needs us to be together because, as Ayan says, the main aspect of the film is love, which is what I embody,” she informs.
Another interesting project is Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh, which is inspired by street rappers from Mumbai chawls. “It’s a new space for me and I’d wanted to work with Zoya Akhtar ever since I saw Luck By Chance. Ranveer is crazy and unabashed and I love that about him. Both of us are passionate about our films and have a huge mutual admiration society. We’ve done some mad commercials together so it’s great to be doing a film now,” she beams.
And when will she make a film with her home banner? “I’m sure I’ll work with Vishesh Films soon, but I don’t know when and what. Whenever we do, should be for creative reasons and not because it’s a family banner. There are no updates on Aashiqui 3 for now,” she sign off
