A lot of buzz that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will again team up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a special appearance in Padmavati, this piece of latest information suggests that Aish will reunite with SLB but not for the Deepika Padukone starrer.
A leading daily reported a source as saying, “They meet socially (last at the Bachchans’ Diwali bash). He counts her as one of the few friends he has in the industry. But that’s it. There’s been no talk of working together on Padmavati,”
The conflict in the plot hinges on the three characters — Rani Padmavati (Deepika Padukone), her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh (Shahid Kapoor) and Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh), who falls for Padmavati. Aditi Rao Hydari plays Khilji’s wife. Besides that, there is no other female character,” the source added.
So when will we see Aishwarya collaborating with her Devdasfilmmaker?
Notably, Sanjay has a Kashmir based love story in mind for the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star and only wants her for the lead role.
