Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma at Yuvraj Singh-Hazel Keech’s marriage.
Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech getting married has been the top billing the past week and it seems that it took over everything else on Friday. The cricketer and the Bollywood actress got married in Goa on Friday after they had earlier tied the knot in Chandigarh on November 30. The first wedding in Chandigarh was according to Sikh rituals while the second one in Goa was according to Hindu traditions.
But Yuvraj-Hazel was not the only cricket-Bollywood pair in Goa. In those attending the wedding in Goa were India Test captain Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma. The two were spotted at the marriage function. The two were also seen together at the Goa airport.
Kohli, who is on a break from his cricketing duties, took along his alleged girlfriend Anuskha to Goa. Earlier in Chandigarh, he was only with the Indian cricket team. The team rushed to Chandigarh for the wedding after winning the third Test against England in Mohali.
After the wedding, a grand reception is planned in New Delhi on December 7. We can expected some more stars in Delhi but this has to be one of the grandest wedding in the cricket-Bollywood pairs.
Last year, Harbhajan Singh had married Geeta Basra while in the past, a lot of cricketers were related to Bollywood actresses and some even married them.
Kohli is not expected to be present at the reception in New Delhi as he will be playing the fourth Test against England in Mumbai. India are leading the five match series 2-0 after three matches. The last match of the series will be played in Chennai from December 16.
