Varun Dhawan is set to get into superstar Salman Khan’s shoes in Judwaa remake and the actor will be seen romancing Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in the film. The movie will be directed by Varun’s father, filmmaker David Dhawan, who also helmed the 1997 hit.
“It’s OFFICIAL.@taapsee and @Asli_Jacqueline with the two of me #Judwaa2,” the 29-year-old actor tweeted. The father-son duo last worked together in 2014 romantic-comedy Main Tera Hero. While Jacqueline has previously worked with Varun in Dishoom, Taapsee, who is riding high on the success of her film Pink, will be teaming up with actor for the first time. Original Judwaa had Karisma Kapoor and Rambha opposite
Salman.
Varun Dhawan recently appeared on Koffee With Karan show along with Arjun Kapoor.
The two guests, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor came all set, ready with politically correct answers denying all rumours that linked them with Alia Bhatt. The two boys of Bollywood were introduced as huge fans of Salman Khan, by host Karan Johar. Almost for the first few minutes, one almost forgot this is the show where most gossips come to life. But it wasn’t the case with Varun and Arjun. At least not before the first commercial break. It was more about upholding moral standards for themselves and the people they are dating.
While talking about dating Varun Dhawan mentioned that he is dating a school friend named Natasha but he did not indulge on giving away more details about his life.
Later it was a bit about the bromantic relationship they share with each other. When Karan Johar asked them about the status of their friendship, Arjun Kapoor confirmed that Varun is his brother from another mother.
