Kareena Kapoor Khan believes every woman should keep following her dream irrespective of the stage of the life she finds herself in.

Kareena Kapoor believes every woman should keep following her dream irrespective of the stage of the life she finds herself in. Talking to indianexpress.com, Kareena said, “If I help bring a little bit of change in the society, it will make me happy. A woman should take inspiration that no matter what stage of your life you are at, if you are doping good, you are happy and you are pursuing your dreams, you should follow it.”
The actress also made it amply clear it was extremely intrusive when people quiz her about the sex of her unborn child. “Wherever I go these days there is this one question asked which is I think quite intrusive – Is it a boy or a girl. Have you found out? I am like, excuse me! What difference does it make? I am a girl child. I would love to have a girl. I have done probably more for my parents than a son would. My answer is very rude. This is downright intrusive. We are still in a nation where you are asked if you are getting married, are you still going to work? If you are having a child, are you still going to work? These questions upset me,” said Kareena.
The actress who has done many women-oriented films in Bollywood feels the film industry has many female superstars and not just male ones. When asked if the day is not far when we will get our first true female superstar, Kareena said, “Everyone is doing well. My fans have supported me through every phase of my career. In this entire journey whether it was before marriage, or when I was having flop films, through marriage, through my current journey, my fans have always been there. And it’s not just luck. One should love one’s job. I think there are female superstars in our industry and not just male ones.” (It’s intrusive when people ask me if it’s a boy or a girl: Kareena Kapoor Khan)
