Kadaram Kondan, directed by Rajesh M Selva, has Vikram and Shruti Haasan in the lead role. It also marks the debut of actor Nasser's son Abi Hassan.

Kamal Haasan is showering Tamil audience with gifts this Pongal. Hours ago, the poster of his upcoming film Indian 2 was unveiled on Twitter, and now, the actor has shared the teaser of his upcoming production venture Kadaram Kondan.
Directed by Kamla Haasan's long-time associate director Rajesh M Selva, Kadaram Kondan stars Chiyan Vikram in the titular role.
The teaser reveals that Vikram is playing an intelligent and elusive thief in the movie, which also stars Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan.
Other than Akshara, the film also marks the debut of actor Nasser's son Abi Hassan.
Rajesh M Selva directed Kamal Haasan's 2016 Diwali release Thoongavanam, which bombed at the box office. Rajesh has also played cameos in Vishwaroopam and Uttama Villain.
Ghibran has composed the background score and music for the film. The music director has worked with Kamal Haasan in Uttama Villain, Papanasam, Thoongavanam and Vishwaroopam 2
Itt looks like Vikram plays a role with negative shades, a gangster who rules the Malaysia underworld. Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Trident Arts, Ghibran is composing the music for the film. Kadaram is the town located in Malaysia which was once invaded by Chola kingdom.
The shooting is nearing completion and reports are that the work will be wrapped soon in January. The shoot for the film is currently on in a grand set erected in Chennai. The film is slated to hit screens in April 2019.
Vikram who was last seen in Hari's 'Saamy Square' and is waiting for the release of 'Dhruva Natchathiram', directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
