Kadaram Kondan is scheduled to release in 2019

The collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Chiyaan Vikran is definitely one of the things which will raise anyone's anticipation. Earlier this year, the Sadma actor announced that he will be bankrolling a project under his banner Raaj Kamal Films along with Trident Arts, which will feature Chiyaan Vikram in a lead role. Now Kamal has launched the title of the film, which is Kadaram Kondam with first look poster featuring Vikram in a gritty avatar with handcuffs and shades. The arresting look of him definitely raises our excitement and hints that his characer will have shades of grey in Kadaram Kondam. Haasan shared the poster on his Twitter account and captioned it, "Here's the First Look of #கடாரம்கொண்டான் #KadaramKondan#RKFI45 #Chiyaan56"

The film is directed by Rajesh M. Selva, who previously helmed Thoongavanam. It also stars and Kamal Haasan's daughter Akshara and Nasser's son Abi Haasan in key roles. As per the latest reports it is said that Kadaram Kondan is the remake of Hollywood blockbuster Don't Breathe which featured, Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, Daniel Zovatto and Stephen Lang in key roles.

Though there is no official confirmation about the news from the production house but a close source to the unit said that it is adapted from a Hollywood movie. Interestingly, production house Studio Green were supposed to make this remake director Anand Shankar taking Vikram in a lead role. Coming back to Kadaram Kondan is set to hit the screens in 2019.
