The curtains have fallen. Manish Malhotra’s Haute Couture 2018 was just as glitzy and grand as we expected it to be with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif being the showstoppers for the evening. The show was also a celebration of 13 years of Manish’s illustrious design label, deriving inspiration from the old-world magic of the Indo-Persian era. Salman and Katrina were his instant choices, and we must say he couldn’t have had a better jodi for this solo show that was held in Mumbai. “While they have established themselves as great superstars, they are both humble and exude a subtle elegance, which reflects in their fashion choices. Speaking of being opposites, while Katrina embodies the soft femininity and grace, Salman has always been a man of free will, with his rugged charm and elan,” he spoke about them to DNA.
It was a spectacular display of silhouettes and designs on the ramp, but all eyes were glued to the stage as Katrina made an appearance. Looking all majestic in the bridal couture, the Bharat actress sashayed down the grand staircase of the Lotus Cafe. In no time, we had Salman entering from the other side and when the two stars came together, the left the onlookers spellbound. Their captivating presence on stage only reinstated the fact that they make for one of the best pairs of Bollywood. You got to see it to believe it…
