Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in The Zoya Factor
All Dulquer Salmaan fans are eagerly waiting for the actor to make his Bollywood debut. The south superstar will be first seen with Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar in Karwaan that will release in August this year. Later the actor will romance Sonam Kapoor in The Zoya Factor – an adaption of the book by the same name. It would be interesting to see the stars share the space on the silver screen and we wonder if their chemistry will be crackling enough. Sonam, in one of her recent interactions was asked about her next co-star and she only had all the sweet things in the world to describe him.
In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Sonam was asked about Dulquer and she said, “He is really cute and such a good actor. I have seen his film Okay Kanmani and he was fabulous in that.” Now that’s quite admirable. Not very often do you hear Sonam calling anyone ‘cute.’ “I really liked him in that movie and I have a history of working with South Indian actors. Dhanush was launched with Raanjhanaa, so I think I work well with them,” she further added.
The book by author Anuja Chauhan is a story about an advertising professional who turns out to be a lucky charm for the Indian cricket team. She eventually falls for the captain of the team and helps in motivating him for the World Cup. Yea, a perfect filmy script. The movie is expected to go on floors in August this year.
Ask Dulquer what he really liked about the script and he said, “I loved the idea and how the book was adapted for the screen. It’s a super team and I’ve known a lot of them for a long time.”
Sonam Kapoor is currently awaiting the release of her ‘not a chick flick’ – Veere Di Wedding and Dulquer, meanwhile is relishing the success of his recent release, Mahanti.
