Bharat Ane Nenu could be the hit Mahesh Babu has been waiting for!

Bharat Ane Nenu is one of the biggest Telugu film releases of this year. After Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam, the Mahesh Babu film is expected to set the cash registers ringing. Trade is of the view that it will get even bigger than Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam. Latter had earned Rs 46 crore worldwide on its first day itself but Bharat Ane Nenu is expected to go much beyond that to probably earn Rs 50 crore or so worldwide.

We told you already that as per early estimates it is expected to break Rangasthalam’s record. In fact, BAN manages to earn that kind of number it will become the second highest grossing Telugu movie after Baahubali 2. The first day worldwide collection of Prabhas’s giant epic was Rs 121 crore which was massive. We doubt anybody would be able scale that up but BAN has the potential to become second on the list by beating Ram Charan’s film. It already got rave reviews from critics and audience alike which is working in its favour. It could be the next blockbuster we have all been waiting for.

Our reviewer praised Mahesh Babu’s CM act saying, “The minute he takes charge, he goes through a transformation. He is no longer your easy-going guy-next-door, but a minister with a vision. He fears nobody, and does what he thinks is right. He is a doer, right from the word go, who makes sure that solutions are implemented immediately. There is a quiet aggression about his character that is admirable. And he is not all talk. If you dare to mess with him, get ready to be beaten up to a pulp. The scene where he declares his name as ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ is profound. However, Koratala Siva, at times, is only highlighting Mahesh’s star aura, that only a fan would love. Nonetheless, it is refreshing to see the Telugu actor take on a role that he has never done before and do full justice to it.”
