[PICS] Shahid and Shraddha are having a blast on the sets of Batti Gul Meter Chalu

Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha are making the most of their time in Tehri, Uttarakhand.

Shahid and Shraddha are currently shooting in full swing for SHREE NARAYAN SINGH’S BATTI GUL METER CHALU IN TEHRI, Uttarakhand. Shahid Kapoor has shared a few pictures from the sets and from the looks the team is having a blast! They are cracking up about something, and we really want to know what the joke is. We are excited to see Shraddha and Shahid together after Haider. Shahid reportedly plays a lawyer in the movie. Joining him is Yami Gautam who will also play one. We wonder if they will have a face-off? As for Shraddha Kapoor, she plays Lalita Nautiyal aka Nauti, seems to be a spirited girl who is in love with life.  At least her first look gave us that idea.

According to a leading portal, The two actors were more than happy putting up at homestays as the nearest five star hotel was Dehradhun and the commute to Tehri would have been a hassle. When Shree Narayan Singh was asked about casting Shahid, here’s what he said – “With films like Kaminey, Jab We Met, Haider and Udta Punjab, Shahid Kapoor has definitely proved his mettle as an actor. Having said that, his star presence is undeniable and I look forward to working with him.” as per reports on PTI. The film reportedly deals with issues of power shortage and the inaccuracies in electricity bills.
