Amitabh Bachchan was recently shooting for Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan in Jodhpur. The actor’s health was affected during the same schedule and his doctors were specially asked to fly down to Jodhpur to check on him. After resting for a couple of days, the star was back on his feet to ensure that he completes the movie’s schedule on time. It was only after he wrapped up the schedule, that the star returned to this city hale and hearty. And guess who was the first family member he met after arriving home? Well, it was none other than his granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. The legendary star took to his Instagram account to share an adorable picture with Navya and his post was enough to melt our hearts.
The selfie that has Sr Bachchan posing with Navya deserves to be framed. Grandpa dearest is extremely proud of his little girl and misses no opportunity to display his love for her. There are times when he simply takes her out to greet all his fans on Sunday outside the home, and on other days, he keeps sharing such heart melting posts with either her momma, Shweta Nanda or Navya herself. Amitabh is always tagged as a family man and they have always been a priority for him. He ensures that he spends enough time with his grandchildren, even if it means flying down to London to be a part of their school function. No one can beat him when it comes to this and there’s so much that our younger folks can learn from him.
Abhishek Bachchan recently revealed Navya’s nickname to his fans and it’s very basic. He calls her Maggie and we wonder if anyone else calls her by same name too. The star kid, currently, has no ambitions of entering Bollywood unlike her contemporaries like Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. But then again, you never know. Acting runs in her blood and there are chances that she might change her opinion. Here’s hoping that she does!
